Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the questions sellers ask most about PODCreateAI.com: what it does, which keys you need, what it costs, and who is responsible for designs.

What is PODCreateAI.com and what does it do?

PODCreateAI.com is a web tool that takes a print on demand idea to a finished listing draft in one place. You begin with Market search, which reads search results and public web pages to show what looks popular, with sources. You then create artwork with AI, including logos, pictures, icons, banners and patterns, or upload your own art. In the Product Studio you place the art on products such as shirts, mugs and tote bags and choose the print area. PODCreateAI.com writes the title, a description of 150 to 220 words and exactly thirteen tags, then saves the finished draft in your Printify account. It is a tool, not a course, and there is no program to buy. Most people finish setup in about fifteen minutes and make a first draft in about five more. You can use the whole flow on a phone-sized screen, because most steps are taps rather than typing.

Do I need a Printify account, and how does publishing work?

Yes. Printify is the company that makes and ships the products, and signing up is free. PODCreateAI.com does not print or ship anything itself. Inside Printify you connect your shop, such as Etsy, and then you add your Printify key to PODCreateAI.com on the Connections page. When you finish a design, PODCreateAI.com saves it in your Printify account as a draft. Printify shows its own mockups, which are the true picture of the finished product. You then open the draft in Printify, set your final price, review the listing and publish it to your connected shop. Nothing goes live until you do that, so you stay in control of what appears in your shop and when it appears.

Which keys do I need, and who pays for the AI?

You add two keys. The first is a Printify key, which you create in your Printify account settings under Connections. The second is an AI picture key from Google Gemini or OpenAI. Gemini draws the pictures and also writes the listing text. OpenAI makes the pictures if you prefer it. You paste both keys into the Connections page of the app. You pay Google or OpenAI directly for the pictures you create, based on their own pricing. Picture making is the largest cost of using the tool and grows with every picture you make or redo, so check your provider's pricing first. PODCreateAI.com does not resell AI usage or add a markup to it. Keep your keys private and treat them like passwords, because anyone who has a key can use the account it belongs to. The Quick start guide shows where each key is created.

How much does it cost, and are there limits?

PODCreateAI.com costs $17.99 per month on one plan. We do not set a limit on how many pictures you create, how many files you upload or how many listings you make, so you can redo a picture as many times as you want. Two other costs are separate and are not paid to us. Your AI provider bills the pictures you create, and the amount depends on how many you make and which provider you choose. Printify charges its own production cost when a product sells, and that cost depends on the product. Making pictures is the biggest cost, and it is paid to Google or OpenAI, not to us. Each picture costs only a small amount, but it adds up when you redo pictures many times, so heavy use costs more than light use. The monthly fee covers the tool itself: the research, the studio, the listing text and the connection to Printify. You can use it as much as you want as long as you pay your provider for the pictures. Because testing an idea only costs the price of the pictures, you can try many products for very little money. Check the pricing section on the welcome page for the current plan details before you subscribe. There is no hidden add-on.

Does PODCreateAI.com guarantee sales or income?

No. PODCreateAI.com helps you make and list products, and that is all it promises. It does not promise sales, income, views or customers, and it does not promote your shop for you. Many ads in this space suggest that a program or a funnel will bring in money, and this site does not make that claim. Whether a product sells depends on the design, the price, the subject, the season, the competition and how you promote the shop, and most of those things are outside any tool's control. What the tool can do is shorten the path from an idea to a finished listing, so you can test more ideas in less time, keep what works and drop what does not. Promoting your shop is up to you. We think that is the honest way to describe it.

Can I sell on Etsy and other marketplaces?

Yes, through Printify. First connect Etsy, or another marketplace that Printify supports, to your Printify account. Do this inside Printify, under your stores, following Printify's own steps. Once the shop is connected, drafts saved from PODCreateAI.com can be published to it from Printify. PODCreateAI.com works with the shops that Printify supports and does not connect to Etsy by itself. Etsy has its own rules about listings, including how many tags a listing can have, and the tool follows the common limits by writing exactly thirteen tags of no more than twenty characters. You should still read Etsy's seller policies, because you are the shop owner and you are responsible for what is published in your shop. Printify also shows its own help pages for connecting each marketplace.

Does Market search show real sales numbers?

No. Market search reads search results and public web pages for the subject you choose and shows ideas and what looks popular, with a link to each source. It cannot show private sales numbers from Etsy or any other marketplace, because those numbers are not public. Some sources, such as marketplace pages that list trending searches, show what a marketplace features, not what sold. Treat every result as an idea to check rather than proof that something will sell. A practical way to use it is to run a search, note the phrases that repeat across several sources, and choose one you can illustrate in an original way. Then create the artwork and test it as a draft.

Who is responsible for the designs I sell?

You are. PODCreateAI.com is a tool and does not review, approve or monitor what you make or sell. Before you publish, check that the design does not use trademarked names, logos, characters or slogans, or copyrighted artwork that you do not have the right to use. Be especially careful with schools, sports teams, public safety departments, military branches, official seals and theme park or resort branding. Look closely at every word in a picture, because AI can make spelling mistakes, and place names deserve extra checking. PODCreateAI.com is also not affiliated with Etsy, Printify, Google or OpenAI, which are separate companies and trademarks of their owners. Read the Terms page before you sell.

What does What's selling do, and are the numbers exact?

What's selling reads the sales signals that Etsy shows publicly on shop pages, best-seller pages and listings, found through Google search results: a shop's total sales, Bestseller badges, sold counts and review counts. It turns the winners into cards with a real photo, a short reason the product sells and an art direction for your own original version. You can choose apparel, drinkware, home and wall art, or digital downloads, and ask for one to ten results. The numbers are signals, not exact sales, and a shop's sales total covers its whole life, not the last month. It needs a Serper key, which gives the tool readable Google results.

Can I sell my AI art as digital downloads?

Yes. Printable wall art, art prints and clipart can be sold as instant downloads, so nothing is printed or shipped. Open any design and press Prepare digital file. The tool gives you the picture file with its format and pixel size, plus an Etsy title, a description and exactly thirteen tags written for a digital download, and a short upload checklist. You upload the file in Etsy yourself and set your own price. Larger pictures print better, so the tool warns you when a picture is under 2000 pixels on its long side.
